God has purposed in Deonte's heart to serve on the college campus. As someone who came to Christ in college himself; Deonte' understands the importance of sharing the gospel on college campuses and the opportunities college campuses provide to strengthen ones faith, bring others to faith, and being able to share that faith.
Deonte' is a native of Georgia who did his undergraduate work at Georgia Southern University and has spent two years at Harding School of Theology in Memphis Tennessee. While continuing his graduate work Deonte' spent two years as an apprentice for the Ole Miss campus ministry in Oxford Mississippi.
"That apprenticeship really solidified and gave me purpose in doing Kingdom work.
I am so blessed to have this opportunity to serve in this capacity, to be God's hands and feet to seek, save, strengthen, and send is our aim"
In Christian Love, Deonte' Watkins
