Curt & Allison Seright

Minister

Curt Seright’s passion is connecting people with the liberating truths found in the Gospel, and serves as minister at the Blacksburg Church of Christ. Curt graduated from Harding University and has ministered with congregations in Florida, Missouri, and Texas after spending time on the mission field in Campinas Brazil. 

Curt and his wife, Alison, are the proud parents of Elijah, Ezekiel, and Eden and they tolerate their kids’ dog, Sarah Chocolate Chip. Curt enjoys the abundant outdoor activities available around Blacksburg and does his best at gardening. Curt tries to live by the motto “Count your many blessings, and then share them”. 

Tom & Kaye Gilliam

Community Minister

Community Minister Tom Gilliam is a native of Columbia, Tennessee. He has attended several colleges and universities, receiving Bible and ministry degrees, as well as a graduate certificate in gerontology. He has served in various ministries in seven states and worked in campaigns in Canada and Ukraine.

Because Tom and his wife, Kaye, understand the importance of music to our spiritual lives they have organized church related singing groups for teens and adults. For more than a quarter of a century the Gilliams have served churches in Williamsburg, Virginia and Surfside Beach, South Carolina, before coming to Blacksburg in 2001.
